Paved roads, level clean sites, close to shopping, clear satellite reception, over 20 Phoenix TV Channels available on your bat wing antenna and digital tuner, close to shopping, close to a large city but out in the country. Wi-Fi antenna just 2 sites away and at least 3 antenna sites in the park.I can't think of anything that was missing for a 3 night stay. I don't think anything is missing for the long term guest. The only thing that would be a problem was mention by a previous reviewer. No shade for those hot Arizona summers, but I don't think there is shade anywhere in the hot areas of the entire state. So the best time to visit this park (or most of the state) is late fall through early spring. Great place for over nighters, short termers and long term snow birds. Great park.

After winding through several miles of well marked paved country roads we arrived at the secluded campground. The check in was very smooth and the lady led us to our site through the very picturesque campground. The sites were level and clean but the entire area could use a good trimming. It has a bit of a rundown look. Since we were there for only an overnight stay we were very well satisfied with the site. We'd go there again if we are in the area.

The clerk in the gas station was very pleasant to deal with. The campground was not as pleasant. It is basically a large parking lot with concrete pads for the pull through sites with mud between them. Many of the electrical outlets are not working and many of the concrete pads are cracked and not level. We were in early and only one other site was occupied when we arrived so we had the opportunity to search out a site that was fairly level and all utilities functioned. It was a satisfactory overnight stop especially since there was nothing else near here.

The park is very clean and orderly. It even has a car and RV wash station. It is a restful place to spend a few days except, there is no cable TV and satellite reception is virtually impossible because of the large trees. We asked for a spot where we could receive the satellite signal and the attendant was very helpful in selecting a place. She said if I had a problem she would move us. Unfortunately we were set up when we tried the satellite and it would not come in because of the trees. We gave up and were able to receive the major network stations with the digital converter. Also we did not like the private side to private side layout of the sites. Our neighbor was not there during our stay so we had our privacy, but we did not like the arrangement.

An outstanding Resort. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The facilities are first rate. All the sites and roads are paved and extremely clean and well maintained. A friendly mixture of over nighters, long term snow birds and Rally participants made for a nice atmosphere. The Houston area traffic is very hectic and busy so I would not personally come here just for the park, but it makes a very nice stop over place if you route takes you through the Houston area.

The owners were the nicest campground hosts we have ever met. The check in with the lady of the team was pleasant and friendly. The gentleman was working in the campground and came over to visit while we were setting up. The campground was a little rough around the edges. The owner was busy with his small bucket loader moving gravel around and leveling some rough spots. Much work needs to be done to make this a truly outstanding place and it looks like the owner is very busy working toward that goal.

This park is an oasis in the heart of a very boisterous city. Everything here is first-class and very well done. Although the sites are not pull-through they are very spacious and well maintained. Security is first rate. We used the golf cart shuttle to the edge of the French Quarter several times and it was a very efficient way to get to and from the neighborhood. Newspapers and coffee are free each morning and the staff is pleasant and welcoming. We stayed here last year and this is our repeat visit for 5 days. The daily rate we paid is an average after Good Sam and Passport America discounts were applied.

We were here with our FMCA Chapter for our annual New Years Eve Rally. The park is clean and well laid out with paved pull throughs and gravel back in sites. All of the sites were extra wide and very clean and level. The facilities were excellent with two communal group buildings with full kitchen and meeting facilities. The park had a mixture of over nighters and winter "snow birds" along with our rally group of 22 coaches. The staff was friendly and did all they could to help everyone that needed any assistance. The local area is rich with sights to see. All in all this is an excellent overnight stop or a longer term home.
